Our integration course ‘A2 Deutsch aktiv’ is a conversation course.

Thanks to the KIP Integration Programme run by the City of Zurich and the Canton of Zurich, which provides financial support for the course, it is free of charge for residents of the City of Zurich.

The aim of this course is to speak! We practise vocabulary, pronunciation, dialogue, and fluency.

Course objectives:

Deutsch Aktiv A2 focuses on practical exercises around the city and public places of Zurich to help you:

– Be able to communicate in everyday situations: small talk, greetings, polite forms of address, understanding and giving directions

– Shop with confidence (prices, quantities, dialogues)

– Improve your pronunciation and fluency

– Strengthen your self-confidence when speaking and overcome inhibitions

– Gain cultural orientation and insights into Swiss culture, e.g. customs in Switzerland or typical idioms

In this course, you will learn how to speak easily in different situations. You will also learn a lot about life in Zurich and Swiss culture and society.

This makes successful integration easy!

  • Meetings: 18 sessions of 100 min.
  • Course day:  Friday
  • Course time: 12:00 – 13:45
  • Price per lesson: 5 CHF (City of Zurich area)
  • Total: 180 CHF, excluding course material
  • Childcare option: 1.30 CHF per lesson. Total: 46.80 CHF
  • Certificate: Certificate of attendance

TELC language certificate available on request. Follow-up course on request.

REFUND OF COURSE FEES

Residents of the city of Zurich with a Kulturlegi card will receive a refund from the city of Zurich for the course fee if they have attended at least 70% of the course lessons.

This course will teach you to understand a wide range of challenging, complex speech and texts and to speak fluently, like a native speaker.
You learn to express yourself clearly both in speaking and writing on a large number of topics and to understand almost all texts.
In this course , you will expand your knowledge of German. Once this level is completed, you will be able to communicate in an independent and spontaneous way in everyday life and at work.
In this course, you will improve your German skills to communicate without difficulties! Furthermore, you will enlarge your vocabulary, learn the most common idioms and how to give your opinion, make complaints or expressing requests.
In this course, you will refresh and improve your basic skills and expand your existing knowledge of grammar and vocabulary. This course will teach you to speak, write and understand more complex sentences and conversations.
In our interactive courses, you will learn quickly the basic vocabulary and grammar whilst having lots of fun. Soon you will be able to communicate, deal with simple everyday life situations and to conduct simple conversations!
